When you use workout DVDs, it’s easy to get bored. If you use workout DVDs as I do, you need to have a few in your collection to keep things interesting. I have many workout DVDs, because I get bored very easily, I always like to have something new to do. If you are just getting started using workout DVDs buy one to start, so you don’t feel overwhelmed. It’s also good to use just one workout DVD when you first get started, so that feeling of mastering one motivates you to try another.
The Firm “Fat Blasting Cardio” work out dvd for women- If you have never done any of The Firm workouts, you should know, they are very challenging! They don’t recommend that you even try to do the whole workout your first time. These workouts guarantee visible results with in 10 workouts, and you will. You are only supposed to use these workouts every other day, so 10 workouts will actually take you almost 3 weeks to complete. They incorporate body sculpting moves with weights and cardio routines. They have a wonderful support system available on their website, and many different programs to choose from. If I use this dvd workout for women, I will often use one of my yoga or Pilates workout dvd’s the next day. Please see the links at the end of the article and follow it to their website.
Winsor Pilates “Total Body Sculpting” work out dvd for women-This is my all time favorite work out. aerobic, and toning. I personally saw results in 3 days. Pilates is very powerful, but it wont strain your muscles as much as doing 100 crunches, but it will have the effect of having done 200. This is a 3 dvd set, there is a beginner, and advanced dvd. There is also an instructional dvd. I cant seem to find anywhere to buy her dvds. Amazon has some links to outside sellers, and you can also try ebay, I have included a links to both below.
T-Tapp “Basic Work out Plus” Work out dvd for women- This is a little known work out that I have done on and off for about 4 years. Teresa Tapp has created what she calls a rehab work out. Her work out has been featured in a number of books and is touted as an anti aging work out. There is no jumping up and down, but you do what she calls comprehensive movement, and you will be huffing and puffing by the time you are done. This work out is really hard, I recommend you do get the “Basic workout plus” dvd work out for women only. This is a fifteen minute routine you can do every other day in addition to another work out for women, like walking, or the firm. You can also try before you buy by following the link below.
“Discover Belly Dance” Work out dvd for women-I have always wanted to learn how to belly dance. I have been doing these so long I had to re-buy them on dvd because I had originally gotten them on VHS. This is a great cardio and muscle building routine. Once you have done it for a while you have the confidence to go out on the dance floor and mix in some of the moves for the Belly dancing work out for women dvd with your own moves. It makes you feel very sexy, and you don’t need to have a pole installed!
Yamuna body rolling “Total body workout” dvd for Women. This is a great anti work out for women who hate to work out. By using a special ball you will roll all your limbs and buttocks and belly away. This is a unique workout that is like a visit to your physical therapist and masseuse in one. Yamuna is a yoga master instructor, who developed the work out and healed her own injured hip. I love this because, when I do it, I feel elongated, and really stretched out and relaxed. This is great for older people or for those who like massages and people who hate working out. Seniors and those with sports injuries.
I have been working out now for 18 years now, and the best thing to do is start with one. I recommend the dvd workouts for women in the following order First The Winsor Pilates work out dvd for women, the the T-Tapp basic work out plus, Yamuna body rolling work out for women dvd, The Firm Cardio fat blast, Discover belly dance work out for women dvd.
