Who wouldn’t want to lose fat in the quickest way possible? If there were a pill or an ointment that could trim the excess belly, thighs or back fat more efficiently, it would have become a bestseller by now, solving the problems of millions of men and women.
Crash diets are meant to starve the body of essential nutrients obtained from food. Because the body no longer have the source of energy to burn, it then taps into its fat reserves, using up the fat stored in the body in order to be able to perform. This is why crash diets often result to fast fat loss.
The problem with crash diets is that they are not meant to be used for the long term. Most of their effects are temporary at best. They strip the body of important nutrients needed in order to ensure a healthier constitution.
Crash diets are also notorious for causing rapid weight gain. Fat lost is fast but the sudden change in the diet makes the person feel hungrier, encouraging him/her to eat more.
As a short term solution, though, crash diets can actually work but only for a very, very short period of time.
In terms of fast results, there’s probably nothing that could beat surgery in producing fast fat loss. Surgical procedures such as liposuction attack fat directly because it is sucked out of the body manually.
This allows significant amounts of fat to be discarded. After recovery, the areas of the body where liposuction was performed are flatter and smaller.
The downside is that liposuction is still surgery and as such, has some risks. Anything could go wrong during the surgery and there is a risk of infection after, when the patient is recovering.
Initially, bloating and pain will be experienced although these are often managed using medications.
If performed well, however, liposuction can be a very effective means for fast fat loss.
Metabolism is the body’s built-in mechanism that helps burn fat. The better the body is at burning fat naturally, the slimmer the person will stay.
This explains why there are individuals who can ‘eat anything’ and still avoid getting fat.
For fast fat loss that is safe and effective, nothing beats metabolism. The best way to harness it is to increase it naturally so that calorie consumption is enhanced.
Two ways to do this is to:
1) eat a consistent diet of foods that are rich in nutrients you need (don’t rely too much on nutritional supplements) and
2) increase your physical activities.
By doing so, you’ll teach the body to become much more efficient in fat burning without the pills, the creams, the crash diets or expensive surgery.
