Ruby red grapefruit give this drink its brilliant pink color and a sharp edge that will wake up any sleepy head!.

1 ruby red grapefruit, peeled
1 white grapefruit, peeled
1 handful cranberries

Juice the grapefruit and cranberries together.

* The white pith of grapefruit contains pectin and bioflavonoids which make them an excellent antioxidant food.

* Cranberries aid in the prevention and treatment of urinary tract infections.

* You can add protein powder to any fruit or milk smoothie recipe to help your nutrition, or to help lower your calorie intake while maintaining your protein levels.

Juicing Tips for your Smoothies

To save precious vitamins and enzymes in freshly
made juice, pour the juice in a glass jar and make
sure that the juice reaches the very top of the jar so that no air remains.

Cover and store for no long than 48 hours.

On busy days, I’ve stored juice this way and it still tasted just great!

I know that some enzymes and vitamins are destroyed but I decided that 48-hour juice is better than no juice at all!
