The Reviews

There are well over 1000 reviews online for the P90X Extreme Home Fitness Workout Program and the reviews are fantastic.  The average user rating for this product is 4.5 stars.  There were a couple of negative comments here and there for example, one reviewer thought that Tony Horton (the trainer and host of the videos) talks too much during the videos, talking about things other than the workout and giving instructions.  A few other reviewers said that they would’ve liked to have seen an option to let the user choose the intensity of the workout on the DVD and then focus on the person that is performing at that level.  People said they have seen this feature in some yoga and other workout DVDs and thought that it would’ve been a nice addition.

Aside from a few criticisms the reviews overall were outstanding.  There are countless reports of people losing weight, building muscle and getting stronger.  Several reviewers stated that what you see in the infomercial is exactly what you can expect in the DVDs.  It is a hard workout but if you stick to it you’ll get results.  People also liked the fact that you could do these workouts with very little equipment.  You use your own body weight for a lot of the exercises and additional equipment consists of a pull-up bar, resistance bands or dumbbells and maybe a yoga mat.
