How Much Water Do You Drink?

Lots of people have no idea how much water they should drink everyday. Many people actually don’t pay too much attention to this, because they think it’s not important.

I know people who never drink water, instead they consume coke, coffee or sugary drinks. While these beverages contain water, it’s in fairly low amounts, and they also contain dehydrating fluids. When I ask them why, they tell me its because water is kind of boring.

What these guys don’t know is that they are causing terrible damage to there body. It doesn’t show fast, but later in life when they start getting complications, that’s when they regret not drinking enough water. You see, without water, we cause serious damage to our own bodies because we cannot remove the toxins and waste products from our bodies resulting from metabolism.

Water is crucial to our digestion system. Water helps carry oxygen and nutrients to the blood. It also helps lubricate joints and maintain our body temperature. If you don’t consume enough water, you can impair every aspect of your body’s functioning.

Did you know that without drinking enough water you might encounter problems like:

• Poor muscle tone
• Digestive efficiency
• Excess body fat
• Joint problems
• Bad organ functions
• Increase in toxins
• Dehydration

You should try to drink at least 8 ounces of water a day. If you are taller or overweight, then you should drink a bit more. This is only an estimate and actually mileage can vary. That being said, drinking too much water can cause serious health problems and even death.

Remember, too much of anything is always going to be bad. It’s also important to drink water judiciously throughout the day. Never drink more then 5 glasses of water in less then a hour, it’s not healthy.
