BUTI To Partner With Safeplace to Offer Reclaim Your BUTI Scholarship Program to Help Battered Women Regain Their Self-Confidence and Healthy Body Image

Austin, TX (PRWEB) July 09, 2012

BUTI has officially launched its charitable scholarship program, Reclaim Your BUTI. This program benefits battered women’s shelters and helps the center’s residents reclaim their identity and self-confidence through weekly volunteer BUTI classes. BUTI is a high-intensity workout that fuses yoga with circuits of plyometrics, conditioning and tribal dance. BUTI helps women open their hips and rid themselves of negative associations with their body and femininity. The Reclaim Your BUTI program awards two teacher certification scholarships in each city visited. These scholarships are contingent upon the recipient volunteering two classes each per week to be taught at the chosen battered women’s shelter. This August, SafePlace in Austin, TX will be the second shelter in the United States to integrate the Reclaim Your BUTI program to benefit its residents.

August 16-18, BUTI Founder Bizzie Gold will be teaching a series of donation-based Master Classes in Austin, all of which are open to the public. The proceeds of these classes will be go to SafePlace. “After giving birth to my daughter I felt deeply disconnected with my feminine power and sex appeal. Moving my hips and BUTI-shaking through my yoga practice helped release me of feelings of self-consciousness and self-doubt. That is why I created BUTI. I am so excited to share this empowering experience with a group of women desperately in need,” remarks Founder Bizzie Gold.

BUTI has recently been featured on the front page of the LA Times, SELF Magazine, KTLA and on Bethenny Frankel’s new daytime talkshow “Bethenny.” This innovative fitness class format has been rapidly sweeping the nation. Set to bass-heavy music and an overwhelming energy of female empowerment, BUTI is dedicated to helping women reclaim their self-confidence and move past their emotional wounds through the freeing of their hips and minds.
