Building The Ideal Body….Eating Raw & Gaining Strength

There is a lot of misinformation that is available as far as putting on muscle is concerned. One of the main reasons why this information has been fed to us improperly is because the people that tend to sponsor most of the larger fitness and muscle building magazines are not necessarily offering us products that are going to benefit our health.

They may help us to gain muscle to a certain extent but it is far from being natural muscle gain and as a matter of fact, it may be detrimental to our health to take it for the long term.

There is new movement recently which has really changed the way that many people look at muscle building and weight training. It is the raw food movement and although most people would not consider the possibility of gaining massive amounts of muscle while eating fruits and vegetables, the fact of the matter is that it is not only a possibility, it is happening every day.

Here is a little bit of information about raw food that you may not have been told before.

First of all, raw greens in many cases contain just as much protein as a piece of chicken or a protein shake. The difference is that whenever you are eating it in a natural state, it is still alive and you are getting all of the amino acids and enzymes in total.

If you are pounding down protein shakes and chicken breasts in order to get your daily protein needs, you are not really getting everything that you need. As a matter of fact, much of the protein that you are eating is dead and does not really do you any good at all.

One of the main reasons why people have the misconception that raw foodists are thin and bony is because that many of the people that eat raw food are not necessarily interested in putting on muscle.

Most people that eat raw food tend to do it wrong and they do not eat enough fruits, therefore not getting enough calories in order to meet their daily needs. Try going raw for a couple of weeks and eat as much as you like.

You would be surprised with the amount of muscle that you will gain, even without taking all of the protein supplements that are constantly being pushed at you.
