Body Building The Ideal Body The Role Of Genetics In Muscle Growth

You cannot imagine the number of individuals who come to me and said that it was impossible for them to gain muscle. The reason that many of them said this was because they were naturally thin as a result of the genetics soup that they came from.

Perhaps their metabolism was running a little bit heavy and it was difficult for them to ever see a day where the food that they eat could be put toward muscle building instead of simply disappearing from them, not helping them to gain an ounce.

You might be surprised to learn that, although genetics do play a large role in the muscle that we gain, it is not the only thing that we need to keep in mind.

Many people consider themselves to be slow gainers or perhaps even no gainers. I’m here to tell you, however, that that is not true.

People who have a difficult time gaining weight are simply not trying to gain it in the proper way. They may need to go about it in a little bit of a different fashion but the simple fact of the matter is, anybody can gain muscle if they do it properly.

The first thing that you need to do is throw out a lot of what you already know about eating because it is probably worthless. Much of what you heard is fed to you by muscle building magazines and health professionals who are paid by the diet industry.

You need to eat food but you need to eat as naturally and clean as possible. As a matter of fact, you can really eat as much if you want as long as you are getting your food in its natural, raw state.

The final thing that you need to consider are the type of exercises that you are doing. Simply going to the gym every day and lifting a little bit of weight is not going to make a large difference whenever it comes to the amount of muscle that you’re putting on.

You need to tax your muscles by doing high intensity training and then you need to rest them so that they have the time to rebuild themselves. Lift properly and you will notice muscle gain very quickly.

Lift improperly and you will be wasting your time and probably give up out of discouragement.
